May the One who is our hope, life, and love bring you unending comfort for "He Is Risen". Matt. 28:7 "The abyss of God's love is deeper than the abyss of death. If death, then, is no threat to our relationship with God, it should be no threat to anything. If we don't know what is beyond the grave, we do know WHO IS BEYOND THE GRAVE..... Wm. Sloane Coffin. We praise God for a mother who bore the wonderful children that comprise the Verhagen Family. Furthermore, we praise Him for instilling faith and the love of community and others through the nurturing of a mother and father who cared. May all of you find peace in God's wholeness--in His love and presence as you give thanks for her life. God is able where we are unable, and we thank Him for memories to keep our loved ones alive in our hearts forever.

Tom, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I know that will leave an empty spot in your heart, but I've been told many times that they are still here with us in spirit and will continue to watch over us. You were blessed to have a mother in your life, and I'm sure she is now with God. Keep the memories - I know you have lots of good ones. She and all of you are in my prayers. Hope to see you both this summer at the reunion. Love Lois
