I'm so sorry for your loss, Rick and family. I've no doubt Gidget touched many lives even after she was unable to participate as fully as we all might have wished. Your love story is epic. My heart hurts for you and your family and friends. I've no doubt you have lots of loving support. And I know you are hurting. May you somehow find peace. Sending love. (And I made a donation to The Nature Conservancy in Gidget's honor since you mentioned she liked camping--I thought she would like supporting The Nature Conservancy's efforts to secure federal lands for protection from development. I hope Gidget is at peace and enjoying nature perpetually. Love to all of you.
