Geri Berendsen

Geri Berendsen, age 83, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, October 24, 2016. She was born to the late Lawrence and Helen (Nowak) Rasmussen in Neenah. Geri was raised in Menasha and graduated from Menasha High School. She was an avid bowler and member of the Central Fox Valley Bowling Association from 1952 until 2011. Throughout her career she worked at multiple bowling alleys, but dedicated most of her time to raising her three children.

Geri is survived by her children, Arland “Butch” Selle Jr., Lou Ann (Ron) Federman and Dan Selle; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Veronica Purdy.

Geri was preceded in death by her husbands, Arland Selle Sr., Wayne Goeser and Larry Berendsen.

The funeral service for Geri will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Wichmann Funeral Home-Laemmrich Chapel (312 Milwaukee St., Menasha). Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Geri's name.
