Geraldine Kunick

Geraldine Kunick, age 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon at Scotchwood in DePere. Geraldine was born in Milwaukee on June 25, 1949, daughter of the late Alvin Volmer and Betty (Schwister) Volmer who currently resides at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Geraldine was married to Arthur Kunick who has preceded her in death in the late 1980's.

She is survived by her mother: Betty Volmer of King; a brother: Thomas (Grace) Volmer of Appleton; a niece: Laura (Jim) McCluskey of Freedom; two great-nieces: Kaitlynn and Shannon; a great-great-nephew: Noah; an aunt: Doris Bobinger; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her father Alvin, two aunts: Mary Jane (John) Czarnyszka and Alice (Herman) Newman and uncles Ralph Volmer and Walter Volmer.

A funeral service for Geraldine will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Wichmann Funeral Home – Tri County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Street in Menasha. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.

A private entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield
