Age 47, died unexpectedly, the result of an automobile accident, on Saturday, August 4, 2001 at Mercy Medical Center. Jerry was born on August 7, 1953 in Wisconsin Rapids, son of Joseph and Dorothy (Wanserski) Pozolinski. He married Jacqueline Seekins on May 17, 1974, and they have enjoyed 27 years of marriage. Jerry was an avid fisherman. He also loved golfing and riding his motorcycle. He was Jaci’s best friend and a loving father. Jerry is survived by his wife, Jaci; his two children, Doug and his fiancé, Samantha Geers, Oshkosh; Crystal, and her boyfriend Adam Landon, Appleton; his mother, Dorothy, Appleton; and his two brothers, Fred (Amy) Pozolinski, and their children Carrie and Tyler, Neenah; Michael (Judy) Pozolinski, and their children Danielle, Amanda, Brett and Nathan, Darboy. He is further survived by his work partner and best friend Dave Schutz and his family. Jerry was preceded in death by his father Joseph, his brother Tom, and his infant granddaughter. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 9, 2001 at the funeral home. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, August 9, from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jerry’s name. The family would like to thank the ER staff at Mercy Medical, the police officers, and Coroner Barry Busby for their care and concern.
