Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God's Word refers to death as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) Very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.

My condolences to your family. Geogie was such a wonderful person and had been a good friend with my mother, Georgia Strickler, She had passed away recently too, so I am sure in Heaven they will continue their friendship. God's Blessings to you all, Jennifer Schimmelpfenning
Linda Peterson left a message on September 26, 2012:
Dear Georgie, Thank you for everything you have done for me. What a wonderful teacher and friend you were. I have very fond memories of your teaching/cheerleading the spelling of "R-E---C-E---i-v-e: RECEIVE!" You would do just about anything to help your students not only learn the English language but also learn to love it. For this I thank you. I also have you to thank for opening my eyes to British literature. Your elective on 'Brit lit' was one of the best classes I have ever taken. Because of you I laughed at Goldring, first heard of Beowulf, and continue to love Wordsworth. I know I am voicing the sentiments of the literally hundreds of students who were privileged to learn from you. Thank you, too, for your friendship for me and my family. You were a truly good person and friend. Lucky us to have met you. Sincerely yours, Linda P.
