I am confident George is in a better place today. I am grateful and thankful for the time he was part of my life during what seems like a lifetime ago. I will always remember George as the first one up making breakfast, he was eager to discuss Canadian fishing trips while getting ready for the next, he had a cocktail at the appropriate times, and he was a constant, good and steady person. I'll look forward to seeing him again in that better place.
My condolences to Dan, Susan, Tony and the extended Michalkiewicz family.
The families of Darlene (Desch) Havel and JoAnne (Desch) Sabers wish to express our condolences to the Michalkiewicz family. Though our sister, Mary, and George were no longer together, we have many fond memories of the happy times. May he now rest in peace.
Please accept my sympathy. I worked at Washington St. many years ago while George was in Cutting.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. My brother Greg introduced George to me 19 years ago. He has been a friend ever since. Lets go fishing. He will be missed.
Sue and Dan ~~~ My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all your family...I know how much you cared for George and how wonderful you took care of him...I pray that your heart heals quickly but your great memories remain for a very long time. Love you
