I am very sorry to hear about George's death. I realize it has been many, many years since we have seen each other, Mary. I am Roger and Nancy(Nohr) Schield's daughter. I work on Seymour Rescue and always sadden when I see/hear about a death of a younger person such as George. I do live in Seymour, WI and get to Appleton often. Mom and Kris still lives in Green Bay. Kris has, signed, this guestbook. Roger, my dad, died a couple years ago. You and your family have my sympathy. PS. I still like to go to Dairy Queen!
Nancy Nohr, Schield left a message on April 6, 2009:
Very sorry to hear of Georges death. Much to young but the Lord must need him. We lived in Antigo for many years and bought lots of dairy queen cones. Lots of memories come back to when I used to babysit for you. Peace be to you on your loss. Nancy
Diane left a message on April 6, 2009:
George and I were co-workers and shared special feelings for each other. My life soon left the First Supply Company (and Rhinelander) and I quickly missed George's stories about his home, land he owned, four-wheelers, and of his family and life. He asked me one time to meet his family and I am not sure whatever happened, but we were both quick to try to ask about each other through friends. My condolences to you. George holds a special place in my heart and will forever be there.
