RENN, GENEVIEVE M. “GEN”

Genevieve Renn, age 94, of Kaukauna, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Brewster Village. She was born on May 7, 1916, the daughter of Patrick and Frances (Turner) Burns. Gen and Edward were married on June 29, 1940 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. They celebrated 62 years together prior to his death on March 1, 2003.

She is survived by three daughters: Mary (Andy) Shaw, Chicago, Illinois; Helen Renn, Appleton and Margaret (Dean) Thomas, Green Bay; thirteen grandchildren; great-grandchildren. Gen is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Frances Belongea, parents and siblings.

The funeral liturgy for Genevieve will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna. Father Tom Pomeroy will be officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of mass.
