I've just missed my Aunt for a long time. She was the most down to earth lady I've ever met. I'm sorry for my selfishness. The thought of her smile makes me feel better as it always did.

Gayle and I became friends when I was in grade school, she and her family became our neighbors, then our friends. We shared so many fun concerts, hanging out with the “ Cambridge” gang, playing frisbee on Glendora Ridge Road, and so much more. She was a wonderful friend, so kind and nice and I know everyone who knew her will miss her so much❤️

Gayle was a dear friend of mine, whom I thought of often, tho we didn't get together as often as I would have liked. She was great with my 2 young daughters, and we all spent time together at her house in the backyard watching puppies play, or in the house meeting each of her Australian Shepherd family members, and of course, playing with puppies anytime they were there to play with. She always asked me when I was going to buy a puppy from her, but at the time, I loved my big burly, Bernese Mntn Dogs. I kept in touch with her over the years, saw puppies come and go, her own dogs come and go, and finally broke down and called her after my last Berner had to be put to sleep at the good age of 10yrs old. I saw she had a litter on Facebook last spring in 2020. My girls and I flew up from Gulf Shores, AL, where we had been living the last 3 years, just to see them and talk to her about which one she thought would fit in best with our family. We fell in love with the Blue Merle baby boy, with his one blue eye, and one brown eye. She made a great choice, as he has grown up into a beautiful dog that looks and I think acts alot like "Quill". She always said she thought he looked like Quill, and wanted to continue to watch how he was growing and how he would turn out. I miss Gayle so much! She had a beautiful smile, a beautiful heart, a fun loving spirit about her. I only wish we could have spent more time together. We could talk about dogs for hours.. Life can be cut short at anytime. I am so sorry Barry and Meagan for your loss. I am praying for all of her family and friends for peace and understanding during these difficult times. Love u girl...RIP Gayle Kukulka 😢💕

My heartfelt condolences to all of Gayle’s family, friends and fur babies. Gayle and I met through work and forged an impactful relationship built from respect and compassion for one another; we enjoyed getting to know one another and she would describe how the dogs were staying right with her as she worked and I’m so grateful she was able to be home with them as she worked - I think it brought her a lot of comfort. I appreciate what Gayle and I shared very much; she left her positive impact with me.
