Gary Eckes

Died of cancer at age 54. His love of life was bigger than the fish he claimed to catch. We thank him for teaching us what it is to be a parrot head and a musky hunter. His summer home was at the Harbor Bar and his winter getaway was in Puerto Vallarta.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Eckes; his children: Suzie Eckes and Brad and fiance Allison, Eckes, mother, Geraldine Eckes, brother, Rod and wife, Donna Eckes, sister, Sharon and husband, Tim Endter, and his boat. He is further survived by his niece Sarah and husband, John Dubey, nephews, Ryan and wife, Cindy Eckes, Bill and wife, Sarah Eckes, Bob and wife Rhonda, Eckes. Gary is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

Visitation will be held on April 17, 2002 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to Affinity Hospice Program.
