Gary C. Van Handel

Following an accident, Gary C. Van Handel, 57, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

Gary was born on July 11, 1958 to Ivol and Myrtle (Schumacher) Van Handel. Gary graduated from Menasha High School and the University of Wisconsin, Superior. He served in the US Air Force retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Gary is survived by his parents, Myrtle and Ivol Van Handel, a sister, Janet (Buck) Drossart, two brothers; Jim (Brenda) Van Handel and Dr. Jeff (Jane) Van Handel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family gathered for a private Mass of Christian Burial for Gary on Friday, May 27, 2016 at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, Combined Locks. Internment was in St Paul Cemetery.
