Age 87, passed away at Heartwood Homes in Appleton on Tuesday May 8, 2007, after a brief illness. Gary was born on April 15, 1920 in Bear Creek, WI., son of the late David and Julia (Young) Ritchie. He married Doris Kugal on September 17, 1966 and she preceded him in death in 1994. Gary was a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II. He is survived by his children Gary, David (Lynn) and Brian all of Appleton; his step children, Sharon (Darrell), and Mike, also of Appleton. Gary is also survived by his sister Veronica Lutz, Appleton, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a step son Terry, and brothers and sisters. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial is being established
