Brockett, Gail Singler

Gail Singler Brockett passed away on Friday October 27, 2006, after a lingering illness, at her home in Neenah. She was born June 17, 1937 in Shiocton to Milo and Eileen Singler. She and Bruce Brockett were married December 30, 1988. Gail graduated from Shiocton High School and attended the University of Wisconsin. She was Office Manager for Stokley, Appleton Plant for 15 years. She also taught gourmet cooking at Fox Valley Technical College. Gail was active in her father’s congressional campaigns in 1956, 1958 and 1960. She and Bruce retired in 1990 and become snowbirds, living in Englewood Florida in the winter and returning to Neenah in the summer.
Gail is survived by her husband Bruce; her mother Eileen; two brothers, Richard (Diane) Singler, Shiocton; Timothy (Mharie) Singler, Reedsport, Oregon; and a sister, Elizabeth Singler, Madison. She was preceded in death by her father, Milo Singler.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at 10:30 am, at the Borchardt and Moder Funeral Home, N5645 State Highway 76, Shiocton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 am, Tuesday, until the time of the service. Condolences may be sent to ThedaCare at Home Hospice. Gail will be missed by all who knew her.
