Frank N. Menzel<br>Appleton<br>Age 95, passed away on Sunday September 9, 2007 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Frank was born on June 27, 1912 in Rolling Stone, Minnesota, son of the late Nicholas and Maryen (Molitor) Menzel. He married Frances Kierlin on May 16, 1936 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Winona, Minnesota. He worked for 45 years at Peerless Chain Company. Frank and Frances lived most of their lives in Winona, Minnesota, until coming to Appleton in 2004. In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his two daughters, Patricia Albers, Appleton; Margaret (Jim) Murphy, Fresno, California; grandchildren, Mark, David (Judy), Scott, and James Albers, Susan (Dan) Anania, Barbara (Blake) Frolich, and Steven Murphy; great grandchildren, Skyler, Phillip, Nicholas, and Tanner Albers, and Garrett Frolich. He is further survived by a sister in law Florence Thrune, and nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John, and Nicholas, and 2 sisters, Eva, and Julia. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday September 17, 2007 at the Wichmann Funeral Home 537 N. Superior St., Appleton with Fr. William Hoffmann officiating.
