Had alot of fun playing cards with fran at the villa in earlier years. Very neat lady I. Glad I got a chance to be a part of her life.
Dear family of Frances Paschen:
We praise God for Frances' long life--a century of life, most of which was in Immanuel Church. During my tenure at Immanuel, Frances was active on the Building Committee of the Church, she was always involved in the Women's Guild and Funeral Dinners, and all the projects that the Guild had through its circles and as a group. She served under four ministers and served well.
She reminded me one Lenten season that she hoped if I ever showed a film at Easter I would still have a spoken message. She said," Always speak to us because you have such good words from the Lord." Today, after all of her earthly witness in time, talent, and treasure, we would be reminded to always speak a word about and for the Lord. May her life with Howard be an emblem of Christian faith to that end. And may you find the peace that passes all understanding for your hearts and minds, and may you meet again with her and all the saints of glory. This is the eternal church to which we all aspire. Blessings to you,
The Rev. Harvey Kandler (retired clergy)
To the family of Frances D. Paschen,
I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) With sympathy,
