FR. GRIGNION WENNING
St. Fidelis Friary, Appleton

Age 81, died on Friday, July 6, 2001, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Father Wenning was born on January 21, 1929, in Kentucky to the late Henry and Hilda Wenning. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII and served his Lord following his ordination on September 8, 1954. Survivors include his 3 brothers, Robert (Peggy) Wenning; Fr. Paul Wenning and Ralph (Eunice) Wenning. He was preceded in death by his sister, Vera. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at ST. FIDELIS FRIARY, 1100 North Ballard Road, Appleton. Friends may call at St. Fidelis Friary from 9:00 a.m until the time of services. There will be a Rosary Service at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Mt. Calvary, Wisconsin.
