Florence Edwards of Kimberly, WI passed away on Saturday April 12, 2008 at the age of 82 while surrounded by her loving daughter and family. She was born on September 24th, 1925 in Chicago Illinois and was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Edwards, mother, father, brothers and sister.

Our beloved Granny Flo or GG (short for Great Grandma) loved spending time with family, shopping with her daughter, and playing with her great grandchildren. Her zest for living kept us all young at heart and we were all blessed to have been part of her life. Granny Flo was exceptional at many things but dedicated most of her time to interior decorating (arranging furniture and painting), baking (exceptional at making pound cakes), keeping her home clean and filling our hearts with laughter and smiles. She lived her life with grace, honesty, and inspired us to always keep family first. She'll be dearly missed and we'll remember her in our hearts and minds forever.

Florence is survived by her daughter and son-in-Law, Diana (Meyer) Carpenter and William Carpenter; her grandchildren and their spouses: Heidi (Meyer) and Ridha Moussa, Ryan and Vicki (Myers) Meyer, Kurt and Allison (Rotramel) Meyer and her great-grandchildren: Hannah Grace Meyer and Zainedine Michael Moussa; step-grandchildren: James (Amy) Carpenter, and Amanda (Jeff) Hofkens; and sisters-in-law: Mary Lou and Joan Kuffel, and Erml Cox.

We love you Florence “Grandma GG”– your spirit will live in our hearts forever.

Please join us to celebrate Florence's life at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME, with Sr. Annette Koss officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
