Florence G. Fiske

Florence Fiske, age 95, passed away at Matthews Care Center in Appleton on Sunday morning, June 23, 2013. Flossie was born in Ellington on December 15, 1917, daughter of the late William and Anna (Schilling) Breitrick. She attended the Hortonville High School, and later was married to Jack Fiske. Jack preceded her in death in 1951. Over the years, Flossie enjoyed caring for her family, spending time with her grandchildren, and baking sweet treats to share with them and others.

She is survived by two children: Sam (Doris) Fiske of Pine River and Judy ( (Darrell Sommers) Wallerman of Appleton; a granddaughter: Tracy (Gary) Arnett of Colorado and their son Finnley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, a grandson William Wallerman, a sister Alice (Carlton) Jennerjohn, and brothers Lauren (Neva), Irving (Emaline), Emery (Adeline), Dayton, and Calvin (Helen) Breitrick.

The funeral service for Flossie will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, with Rev. Patricia Knutson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
