Florence A. Wienandt

Florence A. Wienandt, age 89, of Appleton, gently passed away to God's outreached arms on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Appleton Medical Center. Florence was born on May 20, 1924 in Plover, daughter of the late William and Alice Drews. On December 12, 1942 Florence married Kenneth Wienandt in a ceremony in Plover. Kenneth passed away on July 11, 1991.

Florence worked at ARA service for over 20 years, retiring in 1987. She was a wonderful, kind, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She enjoyed many things throughout her life; crossword puzzles, gardening and going out to eat with her family. Florence was also an avid Green Bay Packers, Brewers and high school basketball fan. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

Florence is survived by her children; Kathy (John) Jahnke, Pat (Charlie) Van Ooyen, Randy (Dolores) Wienandt, Bonnie Wienandt and Rodney (Julie) Wienandt: 17 grandchildren: 31 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She will also be remembered by her son-in-law Steve Reab, daughter-in-law Sue Wienandt and sister-in-law Ella Drews. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Florence was preceded in death by her parents and husband, as well as her daughter Peggy Reab and her son David Wienandt. She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Lloyd (Sally) Drews and Robert Drews: and her sisters, Luella (Bob) Liscombe and Betty (Dale) Wienandt.

The funeral service for Florence will be held at 2:00 p.m on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL (1592 Oneida St, Menasha) with Rev Tim Albrecht officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in Florence's name. Online condolence may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

Mom, We will miss you dearly every day. You were always there for all of us in so many ways and we will keep you in our hearts forever. You're dancing with the angels now mom, rejoice! We love you.
