Bob and Nancy Fearon left a message on September 23, 2010:
Nancy and I (and the girls) are truly sorry to hear of Ev's passing. The Lefler's and Fearon's enjoyed many happy hours together, especially when the children were younger. Having a "discussion" with Ev was an interesing, but educational experience. While the distance between us geographically was greater in the past few years, he, and the family, will always be close to us in our heart.

God bless and prayers for the whole family. Uncle Everette: Believer in Education, Compassionate man who showed it in his spirit. His smile and direct eye contact made you feel like you were the most important person in the world when he spoke to you. He LOVED people! Was always bigger than life to me... Willing to admit his mistakes and teach others through it. I Love you and will see you in Heaven. Thank you Aunt Marcia for taking good care of him.

Our Deepest Sympathy goes to your family for their loss, and to Uncle Everettes Brothers and Sisters. It was just by chance that someone read the newspaper today and seen that he had passed. We would have been there for the funeral if we would have known sooner. God be with you Aunt Marcia and to all of your children, the grand children and great grand child. It is truly a loss to the whole family. Our Love and Prayers are with you all. Cindy

Marcia and family, I'm so sorry to hear about Ev's passing. I know he is in a better place now and back to his old spunky self that I so enjoyed working for/with. He was by far the best boss I had at Ma Bell. Our prayers are with all of you for God's comfort and strength now and in the days ahead. Carolynn Mallia
