Evelyn M. Freda

February 13, 1925 — March 2, 2009

Evelyn Freda, age 84, passed away at the Gardens of Fountain Way on Monday afternoon, March 2, 2009. Evelyn was born in Marshfield on February 13, 1925, daughter of the late Henry and Hilda (Gonring) Andraska. On October 31, 1948 she married Leonard Freda; Len preceded her in death in 1994. In their younger years, the couple enjoyed camping with family and friends.

Evelyn is survived by a brother: Roman (Marcella) Andraska of Marathon; three sisters: Lucille Waldera of Arcadia, Alice (Jesse) Young of Bonduel, and Joan Zeichert of Brown Deer, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard, brothers Robert Andraska and William (June) Andraska, and brothers-in-law Wally Waldera and Allen Zeichert.

The funeral liturgy for Evelyn will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 6, 2009 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 E. Fremont Street in Appleton with Fr. Robert Karuhn officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the services.
