Evelyn Lucille Parker

Evelyn Parker, age 86, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was born to the late Roger and Petrenella (Van Lanen) Johnson on March 13, 1929. She graduated from St. Mary High School in Menasha in 1947.

Evelyn enjoyed many things in life, and two of those things being sports and her hair. She loved to watch the Packers, Badgers, and anything to do with Tennis. Her greatest joy and passion in life was supporting her family, whether it be through attending sporting and school events or family cookouts. Evelyn also had a passion for baking. She would often be in charge of making sandwiches or popcorn for her family's sporting events.

Evelyn is survived by her children: David (Ellen) Parker and their children Stacy (Travis) Edwards and Kelsey; Sherry Parker-Eastwood and her children Kelly and Kristi (Aaron) Johnson and their child Bennett; Terry (Lisa) Parker and their children Garrett and Madison; and Gary (Linda) Parker and their children Jennifer and Michael (Lacy) Parker; her sisters: Margaret Voelker and Elaine (Jerry) Hibbard; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her Husband David Parker, Sr.; her parents, infant brother Joseph Johnson, and her son-in-law Mark Eastwood.

Funeral Services for Evelyn will be held at 12:00 p.m. on the day of her wedding anniversary, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha, with Deacon Rick Dvorak officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Evelyn's name.
