Eunice A. Sanderfoot

Eunice A. Sanderfoot, 78, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Eunie was born on April 15, 1935 to Peter and Mary (Murphy) Vandehey. On September 13, 1958 she married the love of her life Raymond Sanderfoot and they spent many wonderful years together until he passed away in 2005. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Oshkosh. Her family was the most important thing in the world and she loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. She loved all things Crooked Lake. Eunie enjoyed the Packers and loved football Sunday with the family. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Throughout her life Eunie was a shining example and was always positive.

Eunie had many special people in her life. Thank you Jude for all the time spent with Mom, Dave and Mark for all those Wednesday card days, and Cheryl for that special spot on Friday.

Eunice is survived by four daughters: Nancy (Mike) Coenen of Freedom; Karen Sanderfoot of Darboy (Greg Ziesemer); Kelly Cooper of Darboy (Mathew Hanson); and Sara Gorenchan of Darboy; four sons: Steve Sanderfoot of Milwaukee (Alison McCeardie); Bob (Sharyl) Sanderfoot of Rochester, MN; Mark (Brenda) Sanderfoot of Madison; and Paul Sanderfoot of Darboy (Michelle Waldrop); eight grandchildren: Peter Sanderfoot, Mary Sanderfoot, Katie Coenen, Tanner (Dana Hoffman) Coenen, Kylie Coenen, Caden Sanderfoot, Kendra Sanderfoot, Keegan Sanderfoot; and great grandson Maxwell. Eunie is further survived by a sister Lenore Stuyvenberg and brother and sister-in-laws; Ken Robl, Alice Sanderfoot, Cliff (Joan) Sanderfoot and Florence (Bob) Wyngaard, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Eunie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Sanderfoot, a grandson Travis Coenen, brothers and sisters; Herman (Ethel) Vandehey, Agnes (Len) Holzer, Lucille (Walter) Vosters, Don (Martha and Myrtle) Vandehey, Florence (Bill) Gloudemans, Ken Stuyvenberg, Rose (Lee) Kroner, Glen (Bertha) Vandehey, and Mary Robl, and a brother-in-law, Vin Sanderfoot.

The funeral liturgy for Eunie will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 12:00 PM at HOLY SPIRIT/HOLY ANGELS CHURCH DARBOY. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 PM and on Thursday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at the church.
