Age 70, died Saturday, March 4, 2006, at his home.

He was born December 12, 1935, in Appleton, the son of the late Karl Nuernberger and Adaline (Finder) Nuernberger Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne (Kositzke) Nuernberger; a daughter, Nancy Rogers and her children, B.J. Mielke and Chris Rogers; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Diane Nuernberger and their children, Phillip and Alissa Nuernberger; a brother-in-law, Richard Kositzke and his three daughters.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tommy Rogers, a sister, Vernice Mader, an infant brother, Carlton Nuernberger, his mother and father-in-law, Wilbur and Myrtle Kositzke, and a brother-in-law, Thomas Kositzke.

Private family services will be held with Pastor Dave Morton of Christus Lutheran Church officiating.
