ESTHER L. CARPENTER

Age 86, died Saturday, April 6, 2002, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Esther was born on November 10, 1915, in Appleton, to the late William and Louise (Krueger) Schildt. She married John Spears, and later, Dean Carpenter; both preceded her in death. Survivors include sons, John W. (Mavis) Spears, Olney, Illinois, and Marvin (Carolyn) Carpenter, Olney, Illinois; her sister, Mildred Pardee, Kaukauna; her four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Gilbert Schildt. Esther was a former foster parent and Sunday School teacher.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at NEW HOPE ASSEMBLY OF GOD, 1008 Hyland Avenue, Kaukauna, with Rev. Wayne Carey officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial has been established in Esther’s name. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Kaukauna Clinic and Appleton Medical Center for their loving care.
