Emily Laux

Emily Laux, age 88, of Menasha, passed away on September 29, 2015 with family at her side. She was born on Sept. 29, 1927 in Pennsylvania to the late Ernest and Lizzie (Hodgson) Lewis. Emily married the love of her life, Randolph “Randy” Laux and together they were blessed with four children.
During their early years in addition to raising her family, Emily also assisted Randy as a bookkeeper for Laux AMC. Emily enjoyed cooking, reading, playing Scrabble, bowling and was very talented at crochet. In their later years Emily and Randy spent their winters in Florida with many of their friends.
Emily is survived by her three children, Michael (Carol) Laux, Pat Laux and Judy (Dale) Voysey; ten grandchildren, Shannon, Shane, Eric, Chad, Heather, Nicole, Tonya, Alecia, Jesse and Mikaela; twenty-three great-grandchildren; her five brother-in-law's, Don (Yoko) Laux, Dave (Judy) Laux, Gordy (Lois) Laux, Joe (Pam) Laux and John Laux; her three sister-in-law's, Mary (Tom) Murph, Kathy (Larry) Fondow and Corky Laux. She is further survived by many other nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In addition to her parents Emily was preceded in death by her husband of sixty six years, Randy; her son, James Laux; her two brothers, John and Ernest Jr. Lewis and her brother-in-law, Pat Laux.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
