Age 75, passed away at Appleton Medical Center on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. He was born in Appleton on May 10, 1934 the son of the late George and Hulda (Hameister) Wolff. Elmer was employed at Tuttle Press and then worked for many years at Riverside Paper Corporation, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Elmer loved raising his five children and will be remembered for his passionate heart.

Elmer is survived by his children: Charlene Marti of Wisconsin Rapids, Jolene Anderson of Rincon, GA; Shawn (Kimberly) Wolff of Appleton, and Kim Wolff of Chula Vista, CA; grandchildren; Aaron Marti; Candice and Melanie Anderson; Samantha, Andy, Ashleigh, Matthew, Michael, Rebeccah and Emily Wolff; and Katherine Wolff; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Anderson; former wife, JoAnn Wolff; brother, Alvin (Sharon) Wolff; sister, Bernice (John) Bushman. He is preceded in death by his daughter: Cheryl, and a granddaughter, Crystal Anderson; brother, Emil (Eileen) Wolff; and sisters: Irma Cromer and Doris Pressel.

A time of sharing will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at the I.C.U. at Appleton Medical Center for their informative and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Elmer's name is being established.
