Aunt Ellen...what a wonderful Godmother she was! I was lucky to have been one of the nieces she held at baptism. She always remembered me at birthday and Christmas in those young years. Aunt Ellen and Uncle Howie were such a fun couple; I remember them visiting our house many times and how excited we were when we knew they were coming. You certainly were an inspiration Aunt Ellen.

Dear Barbara, Ed, and Jerry and all the grandchildren (some of whom I knew) and great grandchildren (whom I have not met), My deepest sympathy for your loss. Ellen was one of the most delightful, funny and loving people I have ever known. I have so many great Aunt Ellen stories! Today I am thinking of when she and Howie came to Madison for a visit in their Plymouth Valiant. Her wig boxes were neatly lined up in the back seat, but she took them out so we could all have a ride in their cute little car. She was an inspiration. I think of her often, always with joy. I know she had a great life and you were fortunate to have had her for 97 years. But, having lost my mother a little over a year ago I know that you are going to miss her so much! My thoughts and love are with you. Your cousin, Kathleen (Norbert's eldest daughter)

Dear Grandma, I will surely miss you! I always think of you as a fun, funny, religous, loving woman. A great story teller, a terrific Grandma indeed. One of my fondest memories was when we came to visit a few years back with Wylie, Andrew, Kayley, Kaden and Kameron. You decided it would be a good idea to play a dice game and although we didn't know any, you made up a game that held all their (and our) attention. We will all miss you. Lots of Love.

I have many fond memories of Summer visits to Wisconsin. Walking the few short blocks from Grandma's house to visit Aunt Ellen and my cousins.

In memory of the Grandmother to my four children: Grandma Gloudemans, you always taught my children that hugs and kisses and saying "I LOVE YOU" were GOOD things to receive from, and give back to their parents and grandparents. My thanks, Ellen, for your gentle loving-kindness, by always being a "living example" of the same, to my children. You will CONTINUE to touch the world through the goodness of character you have influenced in them, and in all your grandchildren. You were not afraid to love. Dee Dee Legan
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Sweet Grandma- no doubt Heaven's gates were thrown open wide this morning as you arrived. I will miss you so much, but am certain you will be rejoicing until we see one another again. Love you!!

My precious Grandma, you taught me so much over the course of your lifetime. Oh, how I love you and will cherish the memories. I wish I had been there to tuck you in bed last evening and kiss your sweet forehead and make the sign of the cross on it, like you always did for me. You are in the arms of your Heavenly Father now and we will be together again in Glory. You will be sorely missed until then. I will always love you, Grams...
