Ella L. Yost, age 88, of Kimberly, died Wednesday evening, May 3, 2006, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1918, to the late Emil and Elisa (Delsing) Santkuyl, in Venlo Holland, and had been a Kimberly resident since 1960. Prior to this she was a resident of Shiocton, where she owned and operated her beauty salon. Ella married Robert J. Yost on July 5, 1955; he preceded her in death on June 26, 2004. She cared for Robert and enjoyed raising flowers and crocheting. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly. Ella is survived by her brother-in-law, James (Jean) Yost, Omro; three nephews, Michael (Juanita) Yost (Godson), Brookfield; Thomas Yost, Portland, OR; Peter Yost, Oshkosh; a niece, Mary Yost, Oconto; great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews; a special friend, Carol Gilson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary (Gerald) Suprise and a niece, Paula Yost. At Ella’s request, private family service will be held at Holy Spirit Parish-Kimberly, 600 East Kimberly Avenue, at 11:00 am, Monday, May 8, 2006, with Father Tom Pomeroy officiating. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Shiocton. A memorial fund is being established.
