Elizabeth Nemeth

Elizabeth F. Nemeth, age 88, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014. She was born on December 15, 1925, the daughter of Elizabeth A. Weiss (Kamke). On July 27, 1946, she married Carl Nemeth at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. Betty worked as a telephone operator at Wisconsin Telephone prior to marrying. She greatly enjoyed the outdoors, baking, working on crafts, and watching NASCAR, especially Jimmie Johnson, her favorite driver. She had a passion for flowers and gardening, and her flowers were the envy of the neighborhood. What she cared about most though was spending time with her family and friends. Betty was a loving wife and supportive mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a woman of immense strength and unconditional love who will be missed very much.

Betty is survived by her children, Michael E. Nemeth of Atlanta, GA; Cynthia (Dan) Kubitz of Shakopee, MN; David C. (Jeannine) Nemeth of Appleton; grandchildren, Christine Bailey of Atlanta, GA and Christopher and Alex Kubitz of Shakopee, MN; and great-grandson, Joshua Bailey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Kamke; brother, Edward Kamke; and husband, Carl Nemeth.

Funeral services for Betty will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at the WICHMANN TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery.
