Dearest mom...Your birthday came and went...and we all missed your presents! I mean..presence!
Yes, I'm still the clown you taught me to be...even with a longing heart...to hear your laughter and see that familiar twinkle in your eye. Getting older...facing heart and sight problems...reminds me of how you never complained, and smiled no matter what! how I'd love to be given the grace to be just like you. my biggest regret was letting father talk us into skipping your eulogy because of all the holy songs you wanted during your mass. my favorite song I ever heard was you squeeling...Yippee I O Ki E Ki A ! Y O U were my favorite song and you will play in my heart forever. I miss singing "Neath the crust of the old apple pie"...with you. it is now my grandchildren's favorite song. Pray for us Mom. We all need it. and give God the biggest warmest hug! we owe him! After all, He made us ,,,yours! and what a lasting gift that is. we all know you're a living saint. You just happen to be our favorite one. Give Dad a hug too, does he still brag that you're his bride? Happy Birthday Mom! You'll never be more loved. Little Flower, I told you you'd be the loveliest of all in heaven's garden. Your,
Nancy, ole girl, ole girl.
