Age 81, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Eldora was born on March 29, 1927 in Hortonville daughter of the late Lotus and Dora (Diestler) Haynes. She was married to Walter Boelter and together they had three children. He preceded her in death in 1985. Eldora was an Avon lady for many years. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New London where she was a Sunday school teacher, a member and president of the ladies aide, and the choir. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Eldora is survived by her children, Kim (Gary) Davis, New London; Audrey (Tim) Erickson, New London and Todd Boelter, Winneconne. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Ron, Loni, Rebecca, Kimberly and Michelle, and 2 great grandchildren, Lexi and Nikki. In addition to her husband, Eldora was preceded in death by a sister, Darla Siewert. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in the chapel at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Visitation will be at the chapel from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
