(Ethel is at our home in Arkansas and keeps asking to see a paper so she can find your mom's funeral arrangements. The past couple of days when I've walked in on her I find her thinking about your mother. Eileen meant a lot to EB, so I have helped her compose the following note.) Eileen was one of my best friends and I will miss her terribly. Kathleen Vanden Heuval (who passed away long ago) introduced me to Eileen and the group of Ladies. I was a new-comer to the area, being transplanted from New Jersey when I married Don. I was so happy to find a group of warm, accepting women who invited me into their circle. We would go out to eat, play cards and share family stories. Eileen accepted me with open arms and always showed love to me. I appreciated her for befriending me and they all encouraged me to show friendship to others. She would call me when I lived in WI and now since I've been here in AR. I will miss our lovely conversations and I will miss your mother!
