Linda, I am very sorry to hear about Ed's passing. I just received the notice from my sister who lives in Marinette. I have very fond memories of Ed, espically when we were in the Drum Corp together, as well as the times we bummed around in his maroon ford and then his mercury. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Michael and Cynthia Dugan

(((LYNN))) It was Ed who convinced me to begin shooting drum corps photos for Drum Corps News over 30 years ago when I was living in the Seattle area. After relocating to Maine from Boston in 1983, I had dropped of the map for a few years and stopped shooting, but did attend a few shows in Massachusetts until 1994 when Ed convinced me to sit with him in Foxboro Stadium as we both cried watching the 27th Lancers Alumni Corps of 200 plus members. After the show he sent me a link to AOL and then convinced me to get back on the sidelines and shoot photos which I did in 1995 for Drum Corps World. Tonight, I'll have a beer for Ed and do my best to remember ED before Parkinson's slowly took him away from us. Farewell my friend ... you've earn your rest.

I was so sorry to hear about Ed. I know he has suffered for quite awhile and he was always in my prayers, as were you too, Lynn. I knew Ed in high school as a friend and I always thought good things about him. I will miss chatting with him on face book and joking back and forth about Brett Favre.....I too have been a Green Bay Packer fan my whole life, the same as Ed, and shared in his excitment in the Green Bay SuperBowl win this year. That was one of the last times I heard from Ed. I know this will be confusing for Ralphie. God Bless Ed and you Lynn, for ALL you did for him, and the whole family. He is now in God's hands and looking down on all of us smiling. :) ...Judy Kadlec Thiedek, St Paul Park, MN
