Dorothy Timmers

Age 95, died on Monday April 25, 2011, after a brief illness. Dorothy was born on July 20, 1915 in Kaukauna daughter of the late John and Anna (Becker) Baker. She was employed as the Produce Manager at the Piggly Wiggly until her retirement in 1978

She is survived by her three granddaughters: Gail (Jim) Zierler-Hennes, Debra (Steve) Zenisek, Mary (Tom) Coates; a grandson: Robert (Chris) Zierler, seven great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; a sister: Bernice (Edwin) Behrens; a sister-in-law: Dorothy Siebers. She will miss her loving pet and companion”Murphy”.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Timmers and her daughter: Janet (Timmers) Zierler.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday April 29, 2011 at St. Katharine Drexal Parish, St. Mary Church, Seventh Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. The visitation will be held from 3:00 pm on Friday at the church until the time of service. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in her name.
