Dorothy May Kuck

Dorothy May Caldwell Kuck, age 92 of Appleton and Tequesta, FL. passed away on January 25, 2018. Dotty was born May 2, 1925 in Beardstown, Illinois to John and Dorothea Caldwell. Dotty moved to Washington, D.C. to help with the war effort and worked in the Pentagon, where she met her late husband, Carlton Edward Kuck of Appleton, WI. They were united in marriage November 10, 1945 at Bolling Field.

After the war, Dotty and Carl moved back to Appleton. She was active in the local community and was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran church and North Shore Country Club. Dotty enjoyed being active and was an avid golfer and bridge player. Dotty cherished time spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and life-long friends. She enjoyed family dinners at VanAbles, Christmas teas, sinking a hole-in-one and winning at bridge.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Carlton Edward Kuck and son Carlton Edward Kuck Jr.

Dotty will be sadly missed by her daughters: Beverly (Gary) Hammond, Plano, TX ; Jennifer (Gary) Micetich, Atlanta, GA; daughter-in-law Kathleen Kuck, Appleton, WI; seven grandchildren: Christine (Brian) Glaszcz, Nicole (Scott) Giese, Carlton Edward “Eddie” Kuck III, Stacey (Beau) Bevers, Jennifer (William) Crum, Mallory Micetich and Karen Micetich and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Street, om Monday January 29, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brian Bankert officiating. Private burial at Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kuck Family Memorial Scholarship with the Community Foundation of the Fox Cities.
