Dorothy M Mack

Dorothy Marie “Dodie” Mack, age 75 of Appleton, passed away on January 16, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Dodie was born on November 18, 1941 in Highland Park Michigan to Harry and Dorothy Mae (Briggs) Norris. In 1973 she married Kenneth Mack and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2006 after 33 years together. Dodie was a longtime Appleton resident and worked as a Bus Driver with Fox Valley Transit for over 20 years.

Family and friends were of the utmost significance to Dodie, including “the ladies”, Jackie, Gail, Ellen, Sandy and Jane. Dodie and the girls were as close as friends can get, playing cards to all hours of the night, board games, Mahjong, traveling together, Friday Fish Fry, hanging out at the Dome for all the Packer games, restaurants, and the Saturday Morning Coffee and Conversation Club. She also loved cooking, baking and entertaining.

She will be sadly missed by: children, Sharon (Jim) Pearce; Dennis (Robin) Mack; Jan Mack; Keith (Marianne) Mack; Vicky Accardo; Steve Mack; Teresa Miller; grandchildren, Kenneth; Kathryn; Steve; Jessica; Matthew, Randall; Crystal; Tim; Carly; Dominic; Giavanna; Brandon; Cameron, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings, Charles (Carol Ann) Norris; Phyllis Bierl; Robert (Bonnie) Norris and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Ken; one son Brian Moore; siblings, Alice Tomczak, Bette Ann Tucich and George Norris.

There will be a gathering to celebrate Dodie's life on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Wichmann Funeral Homes, Tri County Location in Menasha from 12:30 pm to 3:00pm.
