Dorothy M. Franke

Dorothy M. Franke, age 86, of Menasha, passed away on September 25, 2016 at a local hospital. Dorothy was born on February 22, 1930 to the late Lothar and Meta (Wendell) Diestler. She was a longtime employee of Hortonville Toy Factory. Dorothy loved time with her family and making her grandchildren laugh. She was an awesome cook who loved celebrating the holidays and when she threw a party, everyone was invited. She was a very giving person. She enjoyed watching sports, NASCAR, Hamm's Beer and fishing. She loved animals and her pet dogs.

She will be sadly missed by her children, David, Scott (Susan), Terry, Ricky (Toni) and Randy, grandchildren Jesse, Kyle (special friend Sandy), Kayla (special friend Kevin), Chelsea, Elliott, sister-in-law Myrene and her sons Mark and Brian and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold and brother, LaVerne.
