MILBACH, DOROTHY L.

Dorothy L. Milbach, age 80, of Kaukauna, went home on November 9, 2011 to the Lord after many years of dealing with Lupus, she died from lung cancer. She was born on September 13, 1931 in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late William and Ellen (Dietzler) Baumgarten. On May 1, 1950, she married Nicholas Milbach at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna. She was a faithful member, taught CCD and was a Eucharistic minister at St. Katharine Drexel. Dorothy volunteered as a librarian at St. Mary School. Nicholas and Dorothy enjoyed camping, scouting and were very supportive of their children. Their home was always open for those in need.

Dorothy is survived by her sons: Mike, Don and Todd Milbach; son-in-law: Joseph DeMars; grandchildren: Calvin and Kevin Milbach, Michelle (Scott) Schroth and Kaylyn Wolf; great grandchildren: Owen, Blair and Quinn Schroth; Jazalyn and Dionte Wolf; brother: Raymond (Mildred) Baumgarten and sister-in-law: Helen Baumgarten. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded by many family and friends, who we believe greeted her in Heaven. Dorothy joined her husband, Nicholas and daughter, Barbara DeMars, along with five brothers and four sisters.

The funeral liturgy for Dorothy will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 14, 2011 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH, ST. MARY CHURCH, 119 W. Seventh Street, Kaukauna. Fr. David Belongia, OFM CAP will be officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday at Fargo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.

Her life was a blessing to all who knew her. Lord, welcome her and keep her till we join her in Paradise.
