Age 85, passed away on her birthday, at Rennes Health Center on Tuesday, January 22, 2008. She was born in Owen, WI on January 22, 1923, the daughter of the late Henry and Avis (Stair) Anderson. Doris was proud to serve in the United States Army as a nurse with the rank of Lieutenant. On June 6, 1946 she married Louis Weisbrod, M.D. Doris loved being in the outdoors, especially in the Northwoods. She liked walking, bird watching and cross country skiing. Big Band and Jazz were her favorite music.

Doris is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis “Doc”; daughters: Kathy (Brian) Pray of Milwaukee and their son; Laurie Weisbrod of Appleton, her daughters, and former husband, Doug Meyer; son, Mark Weisbrod of Boulder, CO and his daughter and granddaughter; brother-in-law, T.K. Rasmussen; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Ellen Rasmussen.

The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at ALL SAINTS EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 100 N. Drew St. Appleton, with Fr. Patrick Twomey officiating.
