Some of my fondest memories growing up are of the great times we had when the Weisbrod's came a-calling, or, when Doris and Louis hosted a reunion. I'll always remember - and be thankful - for how Doris went the extra yard to make sure Georg was comfortable when she met "the family" for the first time. Not sure I properly thanked you then, Doris, but you "made" that visit, and many others besides.
Clinton and Lois Smith left a message on April 6, 2009:
Louis, Mark, Kathy, and Laurie -- your Mom "lives" with me, each of you, and all the many others who loved her. She was a blessing we all shared, and has now found the peace for which she searched. Love, Lois
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

So very sorry to hear of Doris passing. We will always remember Doris and Louis at our wedding and later when we visited them at Telemark on our honeymoon. They were so "at home" at Telemark.
Karen Larson left a message on April 6, 2009:
Doris was like my "big sister" to look up to when I was growing up. I will always cherish my memories of her gentle"giving, wonderful self." She had a tremendous capacity to love, and how she gave that to my big brother, her children, and all of us! Thank you, Dear One!
