KEEY, DONNA JEAN (nee Hildebrandt)

Donna Jean Keey, longtime resident of New London, died peacefully Sunday, November 20, 2011, surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Weibe) Hildebrandt. Donna married Martin “Marty” Keey in l955, who preceded Donna in death in 2004. She had many interests, including gardening, painting, hunting and fishing and a deep love of animals. Nellie was her most beloved canine companion. Donna spent many years as an LPN and avid dog trainer.

Donna is survived by two loving sisters: Vera Arzenhofer of Milwaukee and Evelyn Leamy of Boston; brother-in law: Jack Wilson of Atlanta. She is further survived by devoted nieces, nephews, and other family members. Donna is also survived by close friends and neighbors.

The family would like to thank the Theda Care Hospice, Paula and Dan Minkebige for making a loving home for Nellie, and Jason and Nancy at Franklin Park Apartments.
