SKALL, DONALD P.

Donald Skall, 88, of the Town of Menasha, went to be home with his heavenly Father on July 12, 2010. He was born on September 3, 1921 in Appleton, the son of the late Jake and Agnes (Steidel) Skall. Don served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a very devoted Christian and treated everyone with respect and kindness.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Jane (Oestereich) Skall; daughters: Donajane (James) Brasch, DePere and Sue (William) Rice, Neenah; grandchildren: Jeff Brasch, Pooler, Georgia, Jennifer (Tim) Van De Hei, Green Bay, Jeremy (Juliet) Brasch, Ogden, Utah, Jesse Brasch, DePere and Jaime Brasch, DePere; Rebecca (Tim) Keil, Greenville and Cynthia (Tim) Sommer, Sherwood; great grandchildren: Rachel VanDeHei, Ethan and Noah Sommer, Ashley Keil and Mason Brasch. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Russell Skall.

The memorial mass for Donald will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 516 DePere Street, Menasha. Father Paul Radetski will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Menasha. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), Brown County are appreciated.

A special thank you to the staff of Oakridge Gardens for the loving care Don received the last year of his life.
