I offer my sincere condolences to Dons family. I knew Don as a Superior lineman and a fantastic softball pitcher. I was amazed to not see any mention of his softball playing years in his obituary. He not only was a great pitcher but was also a good sport and a respected individual. I umpired baseball and softball for over thirty five years and Don still sticks in my mind as one of the nicest guys toward umpires that I have had the pleasure of knowing. May he rest in peace in the arms of our savior, Jesus Christ.
