Donald L. Martin

Don Martin, age 82 of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, March 29, 2020. Don was born in Merrill, Wisconsin, on December 3, 1937, son of the late Lester and Bernice (Hemphill) Martin.

For many years, Don worked at Lawrence University in Appleton, and enjoyed cheering for the Chicago Bears as well as golfing.

He is survived by eight children: Robin (Tim) Turkow of Appleton, Tim (Julie) Martin of Larsen, Kelly (Bob) Garvey of Appleton, Tracy (Dewey) Haviland of Menasha, Jody Martin of Oshkosh, Shawn Milliren of Appleton, Kevin (Nicole) Martin of Appleton, and Chad (Shalomie) Martin of Menasha.   There are also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends, including two sisters: Mary Krull of Appleton and Patti (Jeff) Helms.
