Dolores L. A. Ruppel

Dolores Ruppel, age 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Appleton Medical Center. Dolores was born in Collins, Wisconsin on February 16, 1919, daughter of the late Otto and Martha (Olm) Pautz. Dolores was married to Edward Ruppel, who preceded her in death in 1995. Her church, her faith, and her family were the focal points in her life, and many will remember her as a longtime and faithful member of Riverview Ev. Lutheran Church.

Dolores is survived by two sons; Wayne (Joan) Ruppel of LaCrosse and Wallace (Maureen) Ruppel of Appleton; six grandchildren: Wendy (Troy) Blewett and their children Colin and Elizabeth; Michael (Kim) Ruppel and their children Ashley and Nicholas; Tara (Robert) Geske; Doreen (Andrew) Schloesser and their sons Tyler and Matthew; Colleen (Patrick) Rathburn and their daughter Lauren; Darlene (Dan) Theisen and their sons Zachary and Jacob; a sister-in-law: Margaret Pautz of Sheboygan; and a brother-in-law: Shadie Simon of Waukegan, Illinois. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1995, a sister Denise Simon, and a brother Durward Pautz.

The Christian Funeral for Dolores will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at RIVERVIEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 136 W. Seymour Street in Appleton with Rev. Dennis Belter officiating. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
