Dianne J. Clark

Dianne Clark, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home in Appleton on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at the age of 79. She was surrounded by her loving family. Dianne was born in Elk Grove Township, Illinois on August 2, 1934, daughter of the late Fred and Christina (Busse) Boehne. Illinois is also where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Morris G. Clark. On June 14th of this year, the couple celebrated sixty one years of marriage.

Dianne enjoyed spending time with her family. She is well known for her famous thin and crispy sugar cookies that many have tried and failed to emulate. This loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother will be missed, but will always be close in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband: Morris Clark of Appleton; three children: Kevin (Lynn) Clark of New London; Pam (Steve) Mitchler of Appleton; and Rick (Maria) Clark of Appleton; ten grandchildren: Kevin Clark, Jr., Jamie Clark, Kari (Dustin) Cummings, Matt Clark, Shaun Mitchler, Aaron (Alissa) Mitchler, Christina Mitchler, Deanna Mitchler, Tony Clark, and Frances Clark; five great-grandchildren: Talen, Ava, Gavin, Rylie, and Kaylee; two sisters: Donna Shine and Patricia (Richard) Martin; a brother: Stanley Boehne; three brothers-in-law: Harold (Joan) Clark, Jr., Duane Clark, and Darrel (Gerry) Clark; two sisters-in-law: Vivian LaVigne and Joy (Ronald) Nolan; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Christina Boehne; by Morris' parents: Harold and Lenora Clark, Sr.; a sister-in-law: Larece (Dennis) Nykaza; and a brother-in-law: Richard Shine.

The funeral service for Dianne will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday morning, September 14, 2013 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 E. Glendale Avenue in Appleton, with Rev. Paul Brinkman officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00AM until the time of services. A memorial fund is being established.
