Diana Ramirez

Diana Ramirez, age 58, of Menasha, died February 25, 2016. She was born February 3, 1958, in Corpus Christi, TX the daughter of Francisco and Epolita (Castillo) Martinez. Diana was a loving Mother, sister, and caring Grandmother with a generous heart who cared deeply for her family. She also enjoyed watching novelas.
She will be deeply missed by her sons, Adam (Jaime) Martinez of Oshkosh, Joey Ramirez of Baytown TX, and Frankie Sanchez Jr. of Menasha; daughters, Amanda (Agustin) Ortiz of Baytown TX, and Michelle Ramirez of Baytown, TX; brothers, Jesus (Siegrun) Martinez of Waynesville, MO, Simon (Maria) Martinez of Appleton, Gavino (Jean) Martinez of Appleton, and David Martinez of Appleton; sisters, Velma (Johnny) Bautista of Appleton, Esmeralda (Sergio) Garcia of Appleton, and Esther (Jesse) Schoen of Appleton; seven grandchildren: Jade, Jaysa, Jasmin, Jr., Anthony, Joshua, and Gordo; and her dog Bones. Diana is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Martinez and Epolita Gutierrez; Stepfather, Santos Gutierrez; sister, Maria “Chio” Martinez; brothers, Antonio and Rene Martinez; and her first and second husband, Jose Ramirez, and Francisco Sanchez Sr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday March 4, 2016, at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton, WI at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Rouse officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016.
