Delton "Bud" Clocksin

June 18, 1921 — September 20, 2015

Delton “Doc” “Bud” Clocksin, age 94, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Matthews House. He was born in Appleton, son of the late Harold and Ellen (Timm) Clocksin. Delton was in the first graduating class of Appleton West. He then went on to serve his country during WWII as a Staff Sargent in the United States Air Corps.
After the war, Delton was employed at American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a mechanic. He moved back to Wisconsin with his family in 1959, he became one of the top mechanics at Miller Electric in Appleton. He enjoyed dancing and had a love for air planes. He was a proud single father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Delton will be greatly missed by his daughters: Terri Clocksin and Karla Clocksin; his granddaughter: Rose Hermsen and her children Alyssa Hermsen, Adian Hermsen and Matilda Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harold and Ellen Clocksin and his sister June Milsap.

The funeral service for Delton will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2015, at the HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK STAR OF HOPE CHAPEL (3131 North Richmond St. Appleton). A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow with full military honors. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
